Project: PBS & J Office Renovation Tampa, Florida Office Designers: Humberto Castillo - PBS & J Jane Niesen - PBS & J Giovanna Pinilla - PBS & J The problem was to renovate 6,577 SF of poor lighted office space with a more creative, maintenance free and energy efficient space while keeping within a conservative budget.

Photo #6 above: Lighting controls through the space helped reduce the amount of power drawn by the lighting system during operation and also the number of operating hours, therefore reducing utility charges.

The open ceiling in the reception have reflective panels which accent the volume space, reinforce the curvilinear theme, and reflects warm indirect light from above.

Photo #5 above: Originality of Design included indirect light fixtures that innovates the space by replacing the old white direct lighting, and by providing comfortable, non-glare, user friendly general lighting complimentary to computer use. Workstations have low panels with translucent inserts to reflect the light emphasizing the transparency of the space.
